Insurance Claims

  • Workman's Compensation

All you need is an approved treatment plan from your physician naming Blaize Pomeroy-Brawner as your massage provider.

Businesses with one or more employees must carry Workmen’s Compensation, per US government requirements. Worker’s Comp. pays for medical bills, lost income, and rehab for treatment of on-the-job injuries.

  • Auto Accident

In Hawaii, there is a personal injury protection fund included in every auto insurance that is $10,000 for your recovery, no matter who is at fault.

As long as the money hasn’t been used up by other expenses such as ambulance, ER visit, chiropractic, acupuncture, etc., then that fund can be used for massage therapy.

If you have been in an auto accident, contact your adjuster right away to inform them you’ve been hurt in an accident. Then you need to see a doctor to get a prescription for a massage.

Timing is a crucial part of the process! It is important that the adjuster and physician can identify the injury as a part of the accident. If you have a challenging time seeing your primary physician shortly after the accident, you should consider going into urgent care or seeing another physician. Once, you have been seen by a physician and you have a prescription in hand for massage, we can work next steps to have your insurance cover the cost of your treatments and we can work on a treatment plan that addresses your specific injuries and needs.
